This is a one-page site selling one eBook. We collect as little as we can get away with, and we don't sell any of it.

What we collect

If you buy the eBook, Stripe collects your email address and the details needed to take the payment, and passes us your email address and a record of the sale — the amount and Stripe's reference. We use your email address to send you the eBook and to answer you if you write to us.

We never see your card number. That goes straight to Stripe, on Stripe's own page.

If you email us, we keep the email. That's it.

The free sample

If you ask for the free sample, we keep your email address so we can send it to you, and so we can email you occasionally about wicking beds — a tip, or news of something new. That's what you're agreeing to when you use that form, and we say so on the form itself.

Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and using it takes you off the list straight away. You can also simply reply and ask, or write to hello@ibcwickingbed.com — either works, and neither needs a reason.

We don't sell the list, we don't rent it, and we don't hand it to anyone else.

Who else sees it

Nobody else. We don't sell or rent your details, and we won't add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for.

Cookies and measurement

We use the following to see how many people visit and how many go on to buy. They set cookies in your browser and can recognise you across other sites they're on:

They're told that a sale or a sample request happened — and for a sale, what it was worth. They're never told your name or your email address.

You can block all of this with your browser's cookie settings, or a tracker blocker. The site works exactly the same either way.

How long we keep it

Sale records are kept for as long as our tax obligations require — in Australia, five years. Emails are kept while they're useful and then deleted.

Your rights

Write to hello@ibcwickingbed.com and you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll do it, and we won't make you chase us.

Children

This site isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect anything about them.
